  • 1. We would love to include a steamy session to complete our elopement day! Can we add this on?
    Your story, your way—always.

    I would be truly honored to include this as part of your session. Whether it happens the day before, the day of, or the day after, I’ll guide you every step of the way—creating a thoughtful timeline that seamlessly weaves together all the art we want to make. That way, you can stay fully present in the moment while I focus on capturing the moments that matter most.
  • 2. Do we need permits for the location(s) we have in mind to elope in?
    Depending on the location, yes—especially if we’re planning to celebrate your love within a national park.

    Once we connect on a call and explore potential locations together, I’ll walk you through any specific requirements or permits needed to make it all happen.

    And if you’d prefer to avoid permit-related fees, no worries at all—location scouting is one of my favorite parts of the process. I’m always happy to suggest alternative spots or uncover hidden gems that still align beautifully with your vision.
  • 3. Do you know of any officiants?
    I sure do—me! Haha. I am ordained to marry my couples!

    I’m incredibly proud and honored to share that I’ve officiated and married many of the couples whose elopements I’ve had the joy of documenting.
    How the funk do I do it? Simple. Many couples prefer not to have an officiant in their photos, so I naturally stepped into the role—speaking the words that matter while actively documenting the moments that unfold.

    This approach is especially meaningful for couples who want complete privacy, with just the two of you (and me) present—allowing your vows, emotions, and connection to exist freely while I capture exactly what your hearts are feeling in real time.
  • 4. Are guests allowed to come with?
    I love when an intimate group of your closest family and friends joins you in celebrating this moment.

    Depending on your chosen elopement location, a permit may be required, and many of these locations do have a capped number of guests—typically anywhere from 10 to 30 people.
    Once we connect, I’ll help walk you through what’s allowed and what makes the most sense for your vision.

    If any of your guests may need hiking assistance or have mobility considerations, please let me know during our call. I’d be happy to suggest locations that offer ease of access for both you and your loved ones.

    There are even places I’ve photographed couples—Joshua Tree included—where you can step right outside the backyard of your Airbnb and say your “I do’s.”
  • 5. We are unsure of how to plan this day. Do you help any of that?
    Not only will I photograph your elopement, I’ll be there for everything—fixing dresses for those picture-perfect moments, tying ties or bowties, and stepping in wherever support is needed. I don’t just show up as your photographer; I become your funky new friend and your guide—every step of the way.

    I’ve even had the joy of helping my funkers choose their wedding dress. That’s how deeply invested I am in this experience with you.

    At the heart of it all, this day is about your story, your way—and you deserve to feel fully supported in every detail.

    From finding the perfect location, curating color palettes (for attire and the tiniest details), to creating a thoughtful timeline we can lean on without being ruled by, I’ve got you covered. Because the moments worth living for—the ones that turn into unforgettable memories—often arrive in the most unexpectedly beautiful ways.

  • 6. Do you provide a second shooter?
    Unfortunately, I don’t offer second shooters. As the sole artist behind your love story, it’s important to me that everything we create comes directly from my heart and artistic eye.

    This isn’t said from a place of ego—there are truly incredible second shooters out there. But the way I storytell and curate your masterpiece, guided by how the moments feel rather than how they’re staged, is deeply personal to me. From our very first call, email, or text, it’s always me—and it will always be me.

    This experience is a true collaboration between you, your partner, and myself. And please don’t worry about anything being missed—I move like a ninja. I’ve been photographing elopements and weddings alone for over nine years, and I’ll work closely with you on your timeline to ensure every meaningful moment is captured with care and intention.
  • 7. Are you insured?
    Yes, I sure am! I understand that some venues, locations, and permit requirements ask photographers to carry insurance.

    Once we’re officially booked, I’ll provide all the necessary insurance details to your venue, coordinators, or anyone else who may need them—making that part of the process easy and stress-free for you.
