The beauty of creating your self-love boudoir masterpiece together is that every story is unique and worthy of being seen, honored, and documented. My approach is deeply rooted in care and presence, creating a safe space where you feel fully supported and free to show up exactly as you are. Our goal together isn’t to change you into something you’re not, but to honor your story, your truth, and remind you just how bad-ass of a funker you truly are!

Every self-love session begins with conversation. After you inquire, we connect to talk about how you want to feel, what you’re reclaiming, and what this experience means to you. This is a space for honesty, curiosity, and intention — no expectations, no pressure.

This session is for every version of you — the healed, the hurting, the curious, the confident, the unsure. You don’t arrive polished or perfected. You arrive human. The space is calm, private, and judgment-free, allowing you to settle into yourself without performing.

You are gently guided, never posed. I offer direction that supports your natural movement and energy, helping you feel grounded and safe in your body. The focus is on presence — breath, softness, power, and emotion — allowing the experience to unfold intuitively.

After the session, many clients describe feeling more connected to themselves — steadier, softer, and more at home in their bodies. This experience isn’t just seen; it’s felt.

Your images are curated with care to reflect your truth in this moment. What you receive is not a version of who you should be, but a celebration of who you are — honest, embodied, and worthy of being seen.

  • 1. Why did you start offering Self-Love Sessions?
    As I began to become known for my couple’s steamy sessions, I started receiving more and more messages from funkers asking if I would create solo steamy sessions as well. At first, I politely declined. But over time, it got me thinking about how powerful it could be to document someone’s individual self-love journey.

    The quote “If you don’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else?” — RuPaul — kept replaying in my mind.

    I allowed curiosity to lead the way and felt deeply called to explore the true essence of story within my solo funkers’ journeys. I was determined to move away from exaggerated, uncomfortable posing (the kind that makes my back hurt just looking at it) and instead create something real.

    I wanted the art we create together to feel authentic, intentional, and truly one of a kind—images rooted in honesty, presence, and self-connection.

    This became about honoring individuality, embracing self-love, and capturing something that feels genuine and deeply personal.
  • 2. I’m shy and have never done this before? Do you provide guidance on posing?
    Absolutely! Don’t worry, I got you! My approach when creating with you is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can come as you are and be fully yourself. As we begin to create in the space, I provide ALL the guidance and help that you need to organically allow your body and movements to flow. THAT provides me with all the creative fuel needed to pose you in the most authentic ways possible that feel true to YOU.

    Fun Fact: I would say about 90% of the funkers you have seen photographed in my portfolio have NEVER DONE a session like this (or let alone step foot in front of a camera before). My goal isn’t to change you into something you’re not, but to honor your story in this chapter of your life—while embracing the new beginnings unfolding ahead of you.
  • 3. I love the locations you shoot in, can you help me find something similar?
    Of course! Once we connect virtually for our first, initial consultation call, I will be asking certain questions that will help us land on a certain vision,feel, and story that we would like to capture for your masterpiece.

    Once I have all the details, I’ll curate a selection of potential locations that fit within your budget—setting the foundation for where your masterpiece storytelling will begin.
  • 4. Do you offer wedding boudoir photography? This is a gift to my partner?
    Yes, I do! While it is possible to have these moments captured on the day of your wedding/elopement day, most soon-to-be wedding partners will reach out in advance to get these photos done, That way, the are able to print them out into an album or whatever their hearts desire to surprise their partner on the day of the wedding/elopement celebration.
  • 5. What should I wear? 
    You will NEVER hear from me, “here, wear this!”

    Outfits play a major role in setting the tone of what you want to feel during the time of creating and even after when you get your masterpiece delivered to you.

    These moments will be captured to last a lifetime. Wearing something that makes YOU feel comfortable, confident, and empowering is key here. I will only help provide clarity and guidance on colors and textures that help curate the masterpiece storytelling we are creating.

    Most funkers bring a variety of things to try on what feels right in the moment. Of course, if you can’t decide between a couple to a few options, that’s where I’ll kindly step in to provide you with my honest and professional opinion.
  • 6. Do you provide hair and makeup?
    Unfortunately, not at this time. Trust me, once I learn HOW to do hair and makeup, I funkin’ got you with a full service treatment haha!

    In the meantime and depending on where we create, I come from a background of being in the wedding industry for many years so I have a ton of connections where I can point you towards.

    I will say this, I always suggest to have a more natural and subtle feel to hair and makeup for the type of art that I create. You will see throughout my entire portfolio that everyone has a more natural approach to everything.

    A lot of my funkers have little to no makeup at all depending on the story we want to curate and tell. A kind and heartwarming reminder, we are here to photograph YOU and YOUR STORY, not creating something that you are not.
  • 7. Can I bring someone with me to my session?
    OMG, of course you can! Sometimes it’s helpful for funkers to shake the nerves when they have a familiar face around to help with adjusting outfits, hair/makeup, etc.

    I love when I am able to build my cheerleading squad for your masterpiece to enhance your experience!

    One gentle note to share ahead of time: once we begin creating, I kindly ask that anyone not being photographed remain outside the shooting area. This allows me the freedom to move and document moments fully, so nothing special is missed and I can focus on capturing the shot without interruption.
  • 8. I’d like to keep my photos private? 
    You absolutely can.
    I completely understand the desire to keep the art we create private. If that’s your preference, I offer a small non-posting fee, which will be outlined when your proposal is sent over. This ensures your wishes are fully respected and that everything we create together remains confidential.
    Everyone featured in my portfolio has kindly signed a model release agreement as a shared understanding around image use. If it brings you peace of mind, I never share names—anywhere. The reason I lovingly refer to everyone as a funker is to keep all identities neutral, allowing the art to be shared while protecting your privacy and personal story.
